Was ist das für ein Projekt?
Das Projekt umfasst, neben einer Ausstellung als Endprodukt, eine intensive Zusammenarbeit zwischen den ausgewählten Künstler:innen und dem Verein. Dazu wird es zwei Phasen im Oktober 2024 geben, in denen die Werkstätten und Räumlichkeiten des g.o.l.f. Klub für die Produktion der Arbeiten genutzt werden können. Neben einem Fotostudio und einer Dunkelkammer bietet das Studio verschiedene Techniken und Materialien aus den Bereichen der analogen und digitalen Fotografie, sowie des digitalen Film. Abhängig von den eingereichten Proposals können auch weitere technische Möglichkeiten besprochen werden. Schreib’ uns dazu gern einfach über studio.golfklub@gmail.com !
Überwachung und Privatsphäre – A Clipping Frame
Anhand fotografischer, audiovisueller und multimedialer Ansätze wollen wir uns den Dispositiven der Überwachung und der Privatsphäre nähern, und verschiedene künstlerische Positionen beleuchten. Fragmentierte Identitäten, Autor:innenschaft des Ausschnittes, dekontextualisierte Daten, Kontrollverlust und Subjektivierung sind nur einige der Thematiken, die künstlerische Interventionen möglich machen – und vielleicht sogar notwendig machen. Wie privat ist das Private, in Zeiten von mithörenden Smartphones und personalisierter Werbung? Ab wann ist eine Fotografie voyeuristisch? Wie viel kann (und will) ich von mir preisgeben, und wie viel will ich von anderen sehen?

Ob konventionell oder unkonventionell, analog oder digital, seriell oder multimodal – wir freuen uns über deine Idee! Schick’ uns dazu am besten einen kurzen Text, in dem du dein mögliches Vorhaben beschreibst (gerne auch verschiedene Ideen). Gerne kannst du auch Skizzen oder ein Moodboard hinzufügen. Wichtig ist, dass man einen guten Eindruck von Thema und möglicher Umsetzung bekommt. Und wie bereits erwähnt, solltest du irgendwelche Fragen bezüglich Ausstattung und Technik haben, schreib’ uns gerne auf studio.golfklub@gmail.com.

Innerhalb dieser Phasen machen wir uns individuell Termine aus.
Solltest du in weder Phase I noch II Zeit haben, macht die Teilnahme am Projekt leider wenig Sinn!

What kind of project is this?
In addition to an exhibition as the final product, the project entails intensive collaboration between the selected artists and g.o.l.f. Klub. There will be two phases in October 2024, during which the workshops and premises of the g.o.l.f. Klub may be used for the production of the artworks. In addition to a photo studio and a darkroom, the studio offers various techniques and materials from the fields of analog and digital photography, as well as digital film. Depending on the submitted proposals, further technical possibilities may also be possible. Just write to us at studio.golfklub@gmail.com !
Surveillance and Privacy - A Clipping Frame
Using photographic, audiovisual and multimedia approaches, we want to approach the dispositifs of surveillance and privacy through various artistic positions. Fragmented identities, authorship of cropping, decontextualized data, loss of control and subjectivation are just some of the topics that make artistic interventions possible - and perhaps even necessary. How private is the private sphere in times of eavesdropping smartphones and personalized advertising? When does a photograph become voyeuristic? How much can I (and do I want to) reveal about myself, and how much do I want to see of others?
